Limnophila Sp. Belem - Tropical Aquarium Plant - CloudAqua

Similar to other Limnophilas, Belem has serrated edges on its leaves. It is unique due to the blotches of purple/magenta it displays on its leaves. Grows tall and fast, often outcompeting other plants and is best used for the background.

With standard lighting it will lean more green in colour without many purple patches. With higher lighting, it will develop deeper purple colouration.

Limnophila Sp. Belem is able to tolerate wider water parameters which makes it more accessible to beginners. As long as it has medium level of light, it will do well.

For bushier growth, trim and cut more often. This will promote side shoots and create denser foliage.
