Rotala Macrandra Sp. 'Kochi' - Rare Aquarium Plant - CloudAqua

A tall and fast growing plant of the Rotala Macrandra family. 'Kochi' has red and pink blade like leaves that grows larger than Rofundifolia species. It grows very tall and is best suited as a background plant to create a visual backdrop.

Plant the stems in substrate but with enough distance between plants to allow the plant to grow without shading each other. High light, rich and stable nutrients and CO2 will enhance its pink and red tones.

Cut healthy tops and replant, and lower nodes will sprout side shoots. Cutting will also promote more vigorous growth.
