Description
Background

Bacopa Colorata is a redder variant of Bacopa Caroliniana. It features thick round leaves which turns pink under optimum conditions. Its exotic salmon pink colour is perfect for creating colour contrasts with other plants in an aquarium.

It is best utilised as a stunning midground focal point when planted in groups. Perfect for Dutch and Nature-style layouts.

Directions

Plant the stems closely with sufficient space between stems. This will ensure the plant have enough space to grow and sprout side shoots to create a bushy effect. Although this plant can be grown in non-CO₂ set ups, strong light, stable CO₂, and adequate nutrients will bring out the best colour and form of this plant. Cut healthy tops and replant, and lower nodes will sprout side shoots. This plant does not require frequent trimmings.
