Description
Background

Cryptocoryne Albida ‘Brown’ is a small aquatic plant with narrow leaves and red to bronze colouration. It works beautifully as a foreground to midground plant, especially in natural or jungle-style aquascapes. It is not as common as other Crypts due to more difficult cultivation methods.

Like most crypts, it is a root-feeding plant and benefits from nutrient-rich substrate or root tabs. Growth is slow and steady, making it easy to maintain once established.

Directions

Plant the crypt directly into the substrate. They can be planted closely to form a bush. Cryptocorynes can go through a melt phase while converting from emerged plant. Roots can be trimmed shorter too for ease of planting.

The plant will naturally split and grow sides shoots over time. Once side shoots have reached substantial size, they can be split and replanted.
