Cyperus Helferi - Plant

Cyperus Helferi is a striking, grass-like aquarium plant known for its long, arching leaves that sway naturally in water flow. It grows from a central rosette, creating a dramatic background feature with strong movement and texture.

It prefers moderate to high lighting and benefits greatly from nutrient-rich substrate and CO₂ supplementation. Growth is moderate. Stable water parameters are important, especially during the initial adaptation phase. Cyperus Helferi is an excellent choice for aquascapers looking to add height, flow, and a natural feel to their layouts.

Plant directly into the substrate, ensuring that roots are fully buried. Roots can be trimmed shorter too for ease of planting, and will regrow quickly. It is a heavy root feeder, aqua soil and/or root tabs are recommended for fuller growth. High lighting will promote larger and faster development.
