Description
Background

Hygrophila Corymbosa ‘Compact’ is a robust aquatic plant known for its broad, diamond-shaped leaves. Compared to standard Hygrophila corymbosa, this compact form stays shorter and denser, making it ideal for midground placement. It grows well in low to medium light and adapts easily to a variety of water conditions. CO₂ is optional but will encourage fuller growth and stronger stems.

Regular trimming helps maintain its compact shape and encourages side shoots. Its bold leaf structure adds visual weight and contrast, making it a great choice for all layouts or structured aquascapes. A reliable plant for both beginners and experienced aquarists.

Directions

Plant securely in substrate, and make sure roots are buried. This plant can tolerate overcrowding, therefore it can be planted in lower light areas.

The plant will naturally split and grow sides shoots over time. Once side shoots have reached substantial size, they can be split and replanted.
