Description
Background

Anubias barteri 'Crispus' is a variety with elongated wavy leaves and a lightly rippled surface. This leaf shape gives it a different texture compared to smoother Anubias types. Compared to Anubias barteri 'Broad Leaf', it has slimmer leaves and a lighter overall appearance.

It grows attached to hardscape and does not require planting into substrate. Like other Anubias, it is tolerant of low light, fertilisation, and a wide range of water parameters. Growth is slow but steady. Moderate water movement helps prevent debris settling on the textured leaves. This plant suits both beginner and expert aquascapes where minimal maintenance is preferred.

Directions

Attach the plant to hardscape such as driftwood or rocks or plant in substrate, allowing the rhizome to be exposed to flowing water. This plant is well-suited for low-light set ups and does not mind being shaded by other plants.

To propagate, cut the rhizome with at least three leaves and reattach it to hardscape.
