Description
Background

Anubias nana ‘Long Wavy’ features elongated leaves with gently rippled edges, offering a different texture compared to standard nana varieties. The leaf shape provides subtle variation without increasing overall plant size significantly. Compared to standard Anubias nana, it has narrower, longer leaves that appears more flowing.

It grows from a rhizome and should be attached to hardscape. Growth is slow and controlled, making it suitable for both small and medium aquariums. Leaves are firm and tolerant of a wide range of water parameters. Low to moderate lighting is recommended. CO₂ is not required. Gentle water movement helps prevent debris settling on the leaf surface.

Directions

Attach the plant to hardscape such as driftwood or rocks or plant in substrate, allowing the rhizome to be exposed to flowing water. This plant is well-suited for low-light set ups and does not mind being shaded by other plants.

To propagate, cut the rhizome with at least three leaves and reattach it to hardscape.
