Murdannia Engelsi - Rare Aquarium Plant - CloudAqua

Murdannia Engelsii is a tall and long leafed stem plant, mostly brownish red and pink in colour, almost resembling a Persicaria. It has long crinkled leaves which branch out. Fast growing and colourful, it makes a good background plant. Originally from Brazil, it has only appeared in the hobby in recent years and therefore not widely available.

Plant stems closely together in soil, offering enough room for leaves to branch out. It is a tolerant plant and will grow well in medium lighting and some CO2, although not completely necessary. Arrangement and orientation may be necessary as some stems may grow slightly curved naturally.

Cut tops and replant to propagate. Side shoots will appear after trimming.
