Whilst the standard Matogrossense is a green in colouration, this variety is white with golden hues. It is more delicate than its cousin and therefore requires more care.

Plant the stems closely with sufficient space between stems. This plant can tolerate slight overcrowding, therefore it can be planted closer for a bushier effect. Will do better in mature tank conditions with adequate lighting, fertilisation and CO2.

Cut healthy tops and replant, and lower nodes will sprout side shoots. This plant require frequent trimmings due to its fast growth rate.
