Description
Background

Crepidomanes ‘Vietnam’ is a rare and delicate aquatic fern admired for its ultra-fine, translucent green fronds that create a light, airy appearance. Unlike typical rooted aquarium plants, this species grows best attached to hardscape such as driftwood or rocks and should not be planted in substrate.

It is not demanding and can grow in most conditions. Moderate lighting is recommended. Growth is slow but rewarding, with new fronds emerging gradually when conditions are consistent. It creates amazing textures in aquascapes and is best suited to nature style tanks.

Directions

Attach it to hardscape with cotton threads or superglue. It doesn't mind being shaded slightly shaded. Gentle water flow will help keep the fronds clean. Trimming will keep it compact and prevent long creeping chains.

To propagate, simply split the bush with hands or scissors along the creeping rhizome, and replant.
