Description
Background

Hygrophila Pinnatifida 'Purple Crystal' is a very small but super unique plant with small elongated leaves ranging from dark green to purple. It resembles a moss in appearance but is actually part of the Hygrophila family. As it matures, the plant will creep and spread outwards, creating a carpeting effect. Great for natural layouts and attaching to hardscape.

It is not a very demanding plant, and can grow in most conditions but prefers soft water and medium light intensity. CO2 injection will help with larger and faster growth.

Directions

Attach plant to hardscape or plant in substrate. This plant can be placed anywhere in an aquarium and shares similar traits to ephiphytic plants. Trimming will encourage bushier growth.

Propogation is simple and straightforward, simply cut a stem from the main plant and replant.
