Description
Background

Eriocaulon cinereum is a distinctive aquatic plant known for its fine, needle-like leaves that form compact rosettes with a soft, grassy appearance. Its unique structure makes it an excellent accent plant for foreground.

It performs best in stable, high-tech aquariums with strong lighting and balanced fertilisation. Clean water and gentle flow help maintain healthy growth and prevent debris from settling within the rosette.

Directions

As with all Eriocaulons, it is a heavy root feeder and should be planted in aqua soil with regular fertilising. High light will help it transition in the aquarium. Once established, it will send out an extensive root network.

Propagation is relatively simple, cutting in half once large enough, and then plantng both pieces will yield two separate plants.
