Description
Background

Lindernia 'India' is a rare and interesting stem plant with small round leaves. It is not a well-known species but is quickly becoming more popular. Under high lighting, its green leaves turn purple with the tallest tips displaying the most colour. As a result, it closely resembles Bacopa Salzmannii 'Purple', although it has much rounder leaves and does not grow as densely.

Growth rate is moderate, especially in aquariums with CO₂ injection and consistent fertilisation. It is undemanding, and therefore an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced aquascapers looking for a reliable plant. Its adaptability and clean appearance make it a great addition to nature-style layouts, Dutch aquascapes, and more minimal designs alike.

Directions

Plant stems closely together in small bunches to create a dense, bushy look while allowing light to reach all leaves. This plant grows well in most conditions, but higher light, stable nutrients, and CO₂ will enhance growth.

Trim and replant healthy tops to encourage side shoots and more vigorous, compact growth. Trimmings can be replanted to propagate.
