Description
Background

Eriocaulon Dalzellii is a rare species from the Eriocaulon family. It is somewhat different in appearance to other members of the family, with long needle leaves that grow from a central stem. It grows like a stem plant, reaching taller heights vertically.

Best placed in the midground where its full needle leaves can be expressed in the aquarium. It is more tolerant of a wider range of water parameters, and therefore more forgiving as a plant to grow.

Directions

Plant in soil for best results, with roots fully buried. This plant is less sensitive than the typical species of the Eriocaulon family. It prefers softer water, higher lighting, CO2 and fertilisation but more importantly, stability of these parameters.

It will naturally develop daughter plants from its stem which can be split and planted.
