Description
Background

Rotala Sp. 'Cambodia' is a fine-leaved stem plant that resembles a brush with intense red and orange colouration. Originally located in Cambodia, it is similar in appearance to Rotala Wallichii, although Cambodia has redder leaves and stem whereas Wallichii is more pink.

Best used a mid ground plant to exploit the plants whorls and furry leaves to create textures in the aquarium.

Directions

Plant the stems closely in substrate to create a bushy effect while allowing the plant to grow without shading each other. High light, rich and stable nutrients and CO2 will enhance its pink and red tones.

Cut healthy tops and replant, and lower nodes will sprout side shoots. Cutting will also promote more vigorous growth.
