Description
Background

Anubias Barteri Var. 'Coffeifolia' is a distinctive species characterised by its reddish brown new leaves that mature into a deep green colour. It is named after the coffee plant because they share similar style leaves, with deep veins. It flowers frequently under water but does not produce seeds. Its hardy growth and leaves make it a reliable choice for every aquarium.

Placed in the midground or background, Anubias Barteri Var. 'Coffeifolia' leaf texture contrasts with finer plants and hardscape. Excellent in shaded zones of Nature-style, jungle-inspired, or paludarium layouts, especially on drift wood or rock.

Directions

Attach the plant to hardscape such as driftwood or rocks, allowing the rhizome to be exposed to flowing water. This plant is well-suited for low-light set ups and does not mind being shaded by other plants. To propagate, cut the rhizome with at least three leaves and reattach it to hardscape.
