External Inline Aquarium CO₂ Diffuser - Aquapro

Aquapro inline CO₂ diffuser is an efficient way to dissolve CO₂ directly into your aquarium filter outflow, creating a clean appearance without the need for equipment inside the display tank. Installed externally on the filter tubing, it helps distribute fine CO₂ mist evenly throughout the aquarium for improved circulation and more efficient carbon absorption by plants.

The diffuser uses a fine ceramic membrane to break CO₂ into extremely small bubbles, allowing them to dissolve more effectively into the water before reaching the aquarium. This results in improved CO₂ efficiency, reduced waste and more stable carbon levels for healthy plant growth and stronger colouration.

Available in 3 standard sizes: 12mm, 16mm & 22mm.

1. Turn off canister filter and disconnect the pipes/hoses.

2. Select the correct tubing size to match the inlet and outlet of the inline diffuser.

3. Install the diffuser on the filter outflow hose, ensuring the water flow direction matches the arrow marked on the diffuser body.

4. Secure the tubing firmly to prevent leaks. Hose clamps can be used if necessary.

5. Connect the CO₂ tubing from your regulator or bubble counter to the CO₂ inlet on the diffuser.

6. Restart the filter and check for water leaks around all connections.

7. Slowly turn on the CO₂ supply and adjust the bubble rate gradually.

Always monitor CO₂ levels carefully when first setting up the system or when changing to a new canister. Stable CO₂ levels are important for both plant health and livestock safety. Pressurised CO₂ systems provide precise and consistent carbon supplementation for planted aquariums.
