Anubias 'Mini Round' - Rare Plant

Anubias ‘Mini Round’ is an attractive miniature Anubias variety distinguished by its small, rounded leaves and compact growth. The plant develops small, almost circular leaves along a short, creeping rhizome. Its rounded foliage gives established specimens a distinctive appearance, particularly when several plants are grouped together. Over time, the rhizome gradually branches and spreads across rocks or driftwood, creating dense clusters of greenery that require very little maintenance.

Compared with Anubias nana ‘Petite’, ‘Mini Round’ is particularly valued for its rounded leaf shape, which creates a softer, fuller appearance than the more oval foliage commonly associated with ‘Petite’. Like other Anubias, ‘Mini Round’ is exceptionally hardy and adaptable. It thrives under low to moderate lighting and does not require injected CO₂, making it suitable for beginners and experienced aquascapers alike. Its slow growth means that established plants retain their compact appearance for long periods without frequent trimming.

With its rounded foliage, rich green colour and miniature proportions, Anubias ‘Mini Round’ is an excellent choice for nano aquariums, foreground planting and adding natural detail to rocks and driftwood.

Attach Anubias ‘Mini Round’ to rocks, driftwood, or other hardscape using thread, fishing line, or aquarium-safe glue. Do not bury the rhizome in substrate, as this can lead to rot.

Provide low to moderate lighting and stable water conditions. CO₂ injection is not required but can improve growth rate and leaf size. Fertilise through the water column if desired.
