Anubias 'Pangolino' - Rare Plant

Anubias ‘Pangolino’, sometimes referred to simply as Anubias ‘Pangolin’, is a small and distinctive Anubias cultivar known for its small leaves and dense growth. It has elongated pointed leaves that resemble the scales of Pangolins. It is particularly valuable for detailed aquascaping where conventional Anubias varieties can appear too large.

Compared with Anubias nana ‘Petite’, ‘Pangolino’ has narrower and pointier leaves. It grows particularly slowly, even by Anubias standards, but its tiny foliage allows established groups to create a level of detail that is difficult to achieve with larger epiphytes.

Like other Anubias, it does not require strong lighting or injected CO₂. Moderate light, consistent fertilisation and stable conditions will encourage healthy development.

Attach Anubias ‘Pangolino’ to rocks, driftwood, or other hardscape using thread, fishing line, or aquarium-safe glue. Do not bury the rhizome in substrate, as this can lead to rot.

Provide low to moderate lighting and stable water conditions. CO₂ injection is not required but can improve growth rate and leaf size. Fertilise through the water column if desired.
