Description
Background

Part of the Eleocharis family which is a dwarf hair grass, Murphy Grass is extremely uncommon. It is a deep green colour and grows vertically.

More subtle and distinct than Vallisenera but occupying similar roles in the aquarium, it is great for creating tall flowing backgrounds in aquariums.

Directions

A surprisingly easy plant to keep, it will do will in medium light and without CO2. Plant in substrate and ensure roots are anchored well, as this plant has a tendency to uproot and float.

It will grow naturally and send runners sideways which will produce daughter plants along each node. Daughter plants will grow to full side within a few weeks. May need to bury nodes into substrate for a cleaner look.
