Description
Background

Ludwigia palustris 'Green' is a hardy stem plant with rounded green leaves that become elongated when grown in water. t is one of the easier Ludwigia species to grow and adapts well to a wide range of aquarium conditions.

Growth is moderate and responds well to trimming, making it suitable for both beginner and experienced aquarists. Compared to red Ludwigia varieties, palustris green has lower light and CO₂ requirements and is more forgiving of parameter fluctuations. When compared to fine-leaved inclinata forms, it has broader leaves and a sturdier appearance..

Directions

Plant the stems in small groups to create a bushy effect in the tank. Trim regularly and replant tops to encourage bushy growth. Suitable for low to medium light. CO₂ is optional. Remove older lower leaves if they deteriorate.
