Description
Background

Rotala Sahyadrica is a newly discovered plant from India. It is a predominately green stem plant with translucent rounded leaves. The plant gives a bushy appearance due to its growth pattern.

It is perfect as a mid or background plant, especially with its wavy and curvy stem growth. Trimming will help it develop side shoots to create a more bushier effect.

Directions

Plant the stems closely together in a bunch. This creates a bushy effect while allowing the plant to grow without shading each other. High light, rich and stable nutrients and CO2 will enhance its bright green tones.

Trim and replant healthy tops to encourage side shoots and more vigorous, compact growth. Trimmings can be replanted to propagate. Cutting will also promote more vigorous growth.
